Mahbubur Rahaman, PMP

Mahbubur Rahaman is from Dhaka, Bangladesh and has been living in Halifax, Nova Scotia for last ten years. Mahbubur Rahaman is the Current Vice President (Programs) in PMI Nova Scotia, Canada Chapter. Mahbubur Rahaman has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) and MASc of Civil Engineering and Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Dalhousie University, Canada. He obtained his PMP in 2018 and is now working as Project Manager in Department of Community Service, Government of Nova Scotia. He has nineteen years of combined working experience as Project Manager in Public service, Research & Engineering sector, as Civil Engineer and Teaching in Universities. He is happy to call Halifax his new home where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Mahbubur Rahaman is an active community leader and volunteer in Canada. Mahbubur's leadership and community engagement was recognized through multiple awards including Top 25 Immigrant of the Maritimes 2018, Province of Nova Scotia Volunteer Award 2017, Halifax Regional Municipality Volunteer Awards 2017, Dalhousie Board of Governors Award 2015.
